Hosts 41st Anniversary Fundraiser to Benefit HairToStay Nonprofit
NORTH BETHESDA, MD (August 26, 2025) -- Progressions salon spa store in North Bethesda, Maryland, is celebrating 41 years of business at their 12211 Nebel Street location in North Bethesda, Maryland. Founded in September of 1984 by successful businesswoman and entrepreneur Cindy Feldman, Progressions salon spa store is a prestigious full-service salon and retail store servicing the Washington, DC area with the highest commitment to excellence, guest satisfaction and giving back to the community.
To celebrate this exciting event, Progressions is hosting a 41st Anniversary fundraiser to benefit HairToStay, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization helping cancer patients keep their hair throughout cancer treatment. Launched in 2016, HairToStay is the first and only national nonprofit dedicated to making scalp cooling treatments affordable for cancer patients. HairToStay is especially meaningful to the team at Progressions, as each stylist is dedicated to empowering the confidence, beauty and joy of their clients.
The 41 Years of Beauty Charity Raffle continues through the month of September, and Progressions will donate 100% of the raffle proceeds to benefit HairToStay (www.HairToStay.org). With two ways to participate, Tier 1 is the Basket Raffle and tickets are $10 each for a chance to win a luxurious basket of choice. Baskets are valued at over $500 and filled with premium haircare products, hot tools, makeup and exclusive community-donated gifts. Tier 2 is the Jackpot with a single donation of $100 or more and a chance to win a $2,500 Progressions gift card and exclusive gift basket. Tickets are now available for purchase at Progressions salon spa store, 12211 Nebel Street in North Bethesda, Maryland. Every $1,000 raised for HairToStay will change the life of a cancer patient.
Progressions’ goal is to reach $10,000 in donations for this worthy organization. “HairToStay raises awareness of the challenges faced by individuals undergoing cancer treatment,” notes Cindy Feldman, an industry leader in salon management. “With our 41 Years of Beauty Charity Raffle, Progressions wholeheartedly supports HairToStay and especially the difficulties faced by cancer patients.”
