Dr. H. Reza Zahiri, D.O., F.A.C.S., is the founder of EliteCare Surgical Specialists and a fellowship‑trained expert in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. He completed his general surgery residency and chief residency at the University of Maryland, followed by advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgery training at Anne Arundel Medical Center under Adrian E. Park, M.D., F.A.C.S., a national leader in hernia and GI surgery.
Before establishing EliteCare, Dr. Zahiri served as Chief of Surgery at Doctors Community Medical Center and held faculty appointments at The George Washington University, Howard University, and Anne Arundel Medical Center. He has authored more than 100 peer‑reviewed publications and performs advanced procedures on the Intuitive da Vinci robotic platforms at Suburban Hospital and regional ambulatory surgery centers in Bethesda, MD.
