    Weschler’s has been an auction tradition in the D.C. Metro Area since 1890, amassing over 125 years of experience. We understand the challenges of settling an estate, downsizing, or simply parting with personal items. Our family can help your family by assisting you according to your timeline, budget, and family needs, and by providing you with reliable, market-based advice regarding the monetary potential of your belongings.

    In addition, Weschler’s has a venerable team of experienced and qualified appraisers and specialists, with nearly 100 years of combined experience. We provide written appraisals for insurance, charitable contributions, estate tax and estate planning purposes.

    To consign with/sell through us, a representative from Weschler’s will need to review your property before it can be accepted for consignment. There are multiple options on how to fulfill this requirement:

    OPTION ONE:
    You may arrange for an in-home visit with a specialist to have your property personally inspected. There is a fee associated with this option, but the minimal charge is refunded if the agreed upon property is consigned to Weschler’s within three months of the visit.

    OPTION TWO:
    You can email info@weschlers.com with photographs accompanied by descriptions of your items.

    OPTION THREE:
    You may make an appointment to have your items reviewed by a specialist at our galleries by calling 202-628-1281.

    OPTION FOUR:
    You can visit us without an appointment on Open Consignment Day. All specialists are in the building and on hand at this time.
