Jonas Benjamin Raider, born in Rockaway Beach, NY, came of age in the creative energy of the 1970s. Influenced by music, film, fashion, and the vibrant culture of nearby Manhattan, he developed a deep passion for art early on. With guidance from artistic family and friends, Jonas began seriously painting after college, refining his unique style. Today, he creates dynamic abstract expressionist works on wood and canvas, known for bold color, texture, and emotional depth. His art invites interpretation while rooted in personal meaning. Over the past decade, his work has been shown in NYC, Washington D.C., and Art Basel in Miami, and is held in numerous private collections.
