About Us

Liberty Construction is a family-run design-build general contractor focused on healthcare interiors in the D.C.–Maryland–Virginia region. In 1981, founder John Sanati started a general contracting company with two partners, drawing on his experience in dental millwork. In 2012, John and his son Aras formed Liberty Group LLC to offer an all-in-one path from planning and design to construction. Early work with start-up dental practices shaped our specialty.

In 2024, we opened a new 7,000-sf headquarters in Rockville, MD, near our previous office. The space includes a 30-seat presentation room and a material library where our team and clients review finishes and systems before installation.

Today we build and renovate clinics, dental and veterinary offices, and support spaces in active facilities.
