BioHealth Innovation, Inc. is a public private innovation intermediary dedicated to accelerating the commercialization of biohealth discoveries. Headquartered in Rockville, Maryland, BHI works with entrepreneurs, startups, universities, federal labs, and industry partners to move promising science from bench to market.
Through its Entrepreneurs in Residence program, BHI embeds experienced industry leaders within federal agencies such as the National Institutes of Health to guide commercialization strategy, company formation, and capital readiness. The organization also provides non dilutive funding support, including SBIR and STTR strategy and grant writing, as well as international soft landing services for companies entering the U.S. market.
As a founding member of the BioHealth Capital Region initiative, BHI plays a central role in strengthening the regional life sciences ecosystem across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. The organization convenes leaders through events, investor connections, and strategic partnerships that drive company growth and regional competitiveness.
