Training: Leading Across Boundaries
Leaders often work in environments where priorities conflict, power is uneven, and decisions have ripple effects beyond their immediate role. Grounded in an equity and inclusion lens, this session examines how boundaries shape collaboration and decision-making. Participants will leave with practical skills for navigating complexity, bridging differences, and leading effectively across multi-stakeholder environments.
Objectives:
- Define the concept of leading across boundaries and identify the types of boundaries that shape collaboration.
- Deepen understanding how leaders can bridge differences in priorities, navigate varied stakeholder needs, and foster commitment to shared goals.
- Gain a trade-off-analysis tool to observe how competing priorities and decision points can be clarified.
