Rockville Rotary Spring Stream Cleanup

Come join Rockville Rotarians to spend great time out in the nature on Sunday May 22 afternoon while providing service to our Rockville community with cleaning up the upper Watts Branch Park and the 03 segment of Watts Branch Stream. Trash pickup sticks, gloves and trash bags are available, courtesy of the City of Rockville Adopt-A-Stream Program. Families and friends are welcome to join. SSL Forms will be available for students who participate.
The headwaters of the Watts Branch stream originate in the city of Rockville, and the branch flows southwest for 11.2 miles under the C&O Canal near Swain's Lock, to the Potomac River, which drains to the Chesapeake Bay. The segment 03 in Upper Watts Branch Park which Rockville Rotary adopted is 0.8 miles long. The cleanup work that we achieve helps all Rockville citizens benefit from clean drinking water. The Upper Watts Branch Park is beautiful.
