On March 10, 1860, the Maryland General Assembly voted to officially incorporate Rockville as a town—just one of many milestones in Rockville’s 250-year history. Author and historian Ralph Buglass, drawing on vintage photos, will highlight Rockville's historic highs (and some lows) in a richly illustrated presentation sponsored by the Friends of the Library, Rockville Memorial chapter.
Ralph Buglass is a frequent speaker for Peerless Rockville, the city's historic preservation organization, and Montgomery History. In 2020, he co-authored Images of America: Rockville with Peerless Rockville, The talk features photos from the book, which is available in the library.
