About the Speaker
Houri Tamizifar is the President and CEO of Cynuria Consulting, an award-winning boutique consulting firm that provides transformative human capital and learning solutions to bring out employees' greatest talents and drive business-enhancing results. Cynuria Consulting serves federal, commercial, and nonprofit clients such as Department of Labor (DoL), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Inter-american Development Bank (IDB), and the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) to name a few. 
Prior to starting her company, Houri worked for some of the largest management consulting firms in the world (PricewaterhouseCoopers and Booz Allen Hamilton) to bring one of a kind solutions to agencies such as the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), and many more. 

Houri has also worked with the K-12 and higher education community in U.S. and around the world, in over four continents, to increase the seamless integration of instructional technologies in the classroom and prepare students for next generation careers. Houri has presented to international audiences of up to 500 (consisting of conference attendees, K-12/higher ed leadership, and government officials) in both English and Spanish.

Houri's ongoing commitment to pro-bono service has been unwavering throughout the years and noted most recently through her involvement with SHRM, Women of Color Conference, the Black Engineers STEM Conference, and the Maryland Women's Business Center.
