Who is this for?
Are you having difficulty finding the right talent, right now? Are you concerned about your future talent
pipeline? Are you in an industry that is not viewed favorably by job seekers or is misunderstood? Do you
offer an informal or formal training program? This session could be of value to you.
What:
Join employer ambassadors that currently have a Youth or Registered Apprenticeship in MD. Hear
directly from an employer panel about their experience in apprenticeship development, the level of
effort, time spent, state benefits and perceived value. Hear from Youth apprentices. Spend time
networking.
Why:
Apprenticeships have expanded from the traditional trades of the past. The state of MD offers
apprenticeships in a wide variety of fields. If your organization has developed training or could easily use
materials already developed and customize them, Apprenticeship is in the realm of possibilities. Maybe
you have training modules in your head and need to get them activated.

Montgomery College, off Mannakee St, Rockville Campus, in the Theater Arts Building Auditorium,
Monday, November 13 th , 1:00-4:00 pm
