Our Civitan social topic will be Civitan 101, an overview of Civitan International, Junior Civitan, Chesapeake Civitan District, the Foundation for Children with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and the new local chapter Montgomery County Civitan Club. Once chartered, the new Montgomery County Civitan Club will be able to apply for Grants to provide funding for programs and projects that help children and adults with disabilities. A Non-Profit Community Service Organization Serving Individuals with disabilities, youth, homeless, seniors and supporting 3 Junior Civitan Clubs in your neighborhood (Winston Churchill High School, Richard Montgomery High School and Herbert Hoover Middle School).
We will have appetizers to share and soft drinks will be available, complimentary to first time guests.
