Becky Briggs of Our Gift Biz - After a 20-year career with an international consulting firm, Becky Briggs used her business savvy and passion for employee appreciation and client relations to launch a new business to fill a void in the gift industry and to simplify the process of gift-giving. In 2000, she launched Our Gift Biz, a boutique gift business, to help often overwhelmed professionals send meaningful gifts at the right times.
Today, Becky and her team serve hundreds of companies and individuals across the US that need something unique without the added hassle of locating, designing, wrapping, and presenting it. Becky’s deep expertise in the gift industry combined with her ability to connect with people has earned her the nickname, “The Gift Whisperer.”
Becky is currently a board member for the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce and has served on various boards for 39 years. In her free time, Becky enjoys traveling (especially the beach) and spending time with friends and her big, extended family.
Becky will discuss valuable tips for staying in touch with prospects/clients in a non-digital way that are:
- Easy to implement
- Easy to build into your process
- Easy to measure ROI
She is a board member of the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce and also serves as vice president on the board of Arts on the Block, a MoCo non-profit providing opportunities to young people interested in careers in the creative arts.
Margaret Doan of PIXLInk Studio on Web - Margaret Doan spearheads client services and operations at PIXLInk Studio, a creative marketing and design studio in Rockville, MD. Working with clients to create thoughtful, impactful brands and build engaging marketing platforms, she brings over a decade of expertise to the table. In that time her clients have won dozens of top industry awards for their branding, websites, creative campaigns, and social media platforms.
Tim Fahey of Dirigo Agency on Technology - Timothy "Tim" Fahey, President of Dirigo Agency, a pioneer in technology marketing, design, and branding for over thirty years. At Montgomery College, he enriches minds as an adjunct professor in Digital Tools for the Visual Arts and volunteers introducing Generative AI to educators. Tim excels in managing programs and crafting content that transforms B2B, nonprofit, and corporate giants such as Cisco and AT&T. With academic credentials from The American University in Washington, DC, and Montgomery College in Rockville, MD, Tim’s educational background underpins his extensive expertise.
Tim also is the chair of the Mastermind for Business Owners at the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce on the first Tuesday of every month.
