The Grass Roots Organization for the Well-being of Seniors (GROWS) and the Maryland Department of Aging (MDOA) invite you to a special presentation, Reframe Aging: A Generation's Work, led by the National Center to Reframe Aging (NCRA) to gain an understanding of the need to change the way our society communicates about aging and older adults. Learn more about the power of research-based framing strategies to become more effective framers and increase the impact of your communications and work.
In Longevity Ready Maryland’s envisioned future, where Marylanders live longer, healthier, financially secure, socially connected, and purposeful lives, there’s no room for ageism nor for the implicit bias about age that consistently impacts our society today. Longevity Ready Maryland seeks to prepare the state to maximize the benefits and opportunities and address the challenges of a rapidly aging society.
