Did you know that Montgomery County has several media outlets? Ever wonder who they are? Well, some of them are your fellow members of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce. We will have panelists from a variety of outlets describe who their audiences are and what content they need. They will also tell us how best to work with them to showcase your business.

Nannette Onley Hobson is the Chief Executive Officer for Montgomery Community Media in Rockville, Md. A proven leader and manager, Hobson has more than 30 years of experience developing and executing multimedia and broadcast television content.
Prior to Montgomery Community Media, Hobson was News Director at New England Cable News, a regional 24-hour cable news network in Boston, and WNCN (NBC-17) in Raleigh, North Carolina., both owned by NBC Universal. Most of her career with NBC was spent at WRC (NBC-4) in Washington, D.C., where she was promoted through the ranks to Assistant News Director during her tenure there.
Hobson has received many outstanding industry awards over the years, including two local Emmys for producing, plus the prestigious “Glen Brenner Emmy Award” for career contributions in the Washington, D.C. market. Under her leadership, Montgomery Community Media has received multiple Telly Awards, NATOA honors and Emmys.
Eric is a U.S. Army veteran and a serial entrepreneur, who has spent the last 25 years working in sales, marketing, television, audio production, and website design. Eric loves sharing his wealth of knowledge
and industry expertise so as to help other entrepreneurs grow their businesses.
Known for producing professional-quality podcasts, websites, and supporting marketing content for his clients, Eric?s podcast clients include the Rockville Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors, and The Emerging Markets Podcast by Aronson, LLC just to name a few.
Cheryl Kane Heimlich is the publisher of Store Reporter (www.storereporter.com), a local news website covering retail and restaurants in Rockville, Potomac, and North Bethesda. She writes about openings, closings and other happenings on the local shopping and dining scene, from Rockville Town Square, Rockville Pike, and Pike & Rose to Park Potomac, Cabin John Village, and Westfield Montgomery mall. She publishes a new issue every Thursday and runs ads for local businesses that want to reach the Store Reporter audience.
