Community Shred Day + Food Truck Celebration

In celebration of our 90th anniversary, we are inviting the community to join a day of service, sustainability, and celebration at our Tower Oaks Branch!

Festivities of the day include:

Community Shred Day: 9 AM – 12 PM
FREE secure shredding for your personal (non-commercial)
documents. Coffee and donuts served!¹

Food Truck Celebration: 12 PM – 2 PM
Grab lunch and dessert from two local favorites (Ludicrous + La Gelatteria) — first 90 meals are complimentary!²

¹Shredding ends when truck reaches capacity. ²First 90 guests to arrive will receive a complimentary meal from the food truck of their choice. After the first 90 meals are claimed, attendees may purchase meals directly from the food truck at the vendor’s standard pricing. ³Must attend the Tower Oaks Community Shred Day and be at least 18 years old to enter drawing. No purchase necessary. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. Lafayette Federal is not responsible for any entries that are incomplete, submitted late, misdirected, lost, or illegible. On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Lafayette Federal will randomly select four (4) Amazon gift card winners from all Shred Day entries and two (2) Yeti cooler winners from all Food Truck entries. All prizes will be awarded. List of winners will be maintained at the Norman Cohen Building of Lafayette Federal Headquarters. The odds of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries submitted. Lafayette Federal will notify prizewinners personally by either telephone or email. It shall be the responsibility of entrants to provide a valid telephone number and valid email address with their entry submission in order to be eligible to collect the prize. LFCU employees, family members, and volunteers are not eligible.
