A Note from Co-Founder Steve Lorberbaum:

As Founders of Assisting Hands Potomac, Cathy and I came to our decision after personal journeys involving both of our families. I had a successful career as an attorney. Cathy was a marketing manager. But when difficulties arose with our parents, and we witnessed for ourselves all the problems that ensued, we made the decision to start Assisting Hands of Potomac in-home care services. We experienced for ourselves how life changes quickly. And we sought ways to make every day as fulfilling as possible for the ones we loved. We believed that we could offer a new way for families to care for loved ones – even at the most difficult times.
