Tom joined the Green Bank in June 2017 as the organization's first CEO to support the Green Bank's mission to accelerate affordable investment in clean energy for the benefit of businesses and residents of Montgomery County. The Green Bank was capitalized by over $20 million through the County from settlement funds from a utility merger. The Green Bank has focused its initial efforts around commercial and industrial properties\, single-family owned homes\, affordable rental housing properties\, community solar\, and commercial solar. Tom has led the Green Bank in development of its initial commercial and residential energy efficiency and renewable energy products in partnership with community banks and credit unions. Tom joins the Green Bank from the national nonprofit NeighborWorks America where Tom led its division focused on real estate development and management and green strategies for nine years.   Prior to NeighborWorks\, Tom was at Fannie Mae for fourteen years where Tom worked throughout the company to advance tailored single-family and multifamily mortgage and investment products that responded to local market needs. Tom has been a resident of Montgomery County for 30 years.  Tom is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago and University of Virginia.\n\n\n\nJENNIFER MURPHY\, CleanChoice Energy\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJOE TABELING\, CQI Associates\, LLC\n\n\n	Joe will explain the Energy Co-op program\, energy savings tips and review the latest energy market news.\n	Joe Tabeling is the Senior Associate of CQI Associates and has been in the Energy Industry for over ten years. He manages twenty-three Chamber of Commerce Energy Cooperative Programs\, oversees all business development in the Northeast territory\, manages all marketing initiatives\, presents all webinars throughout the United States\, and is responsible for all sales training of staff. Joe is a native Marylander with over 30 years' experience as the owner of a nationally acclaimed pool and spa business\, owner of a sales and marketing firm and owner of an import/export business. He is acknowledged as the top regional salesman in the Marine and Sporting Goods industries\, as well as the recipient of numerous display and marketing awards including the prestigious Sig Sigler's Top Innovative Marketing Award.
