The new location brings many firsts for the brand\, first location to feature the brand's colorful new branding\, a full salsa bar\, and a new initiative to support Montgomery County children by helping to pay off student meal debt. Diners can enjoy breakfast\, lunch and dinner to go\, al fresco or dine comfortably in the vibrant space with seats for 30 inside. The Rockville location will also be Little Miner Taco's first to include a full-service bar\, which is expected to open in 2025.\n\n\n\nLittle Miner Taco will donate 100% of proceeds from the purchase of each kid's meal to the MCPS Educational Foundation's Dine With Dignity program which fundraises to address debt accrued by students while their families wait for approval to receive free meals through the Free And Reduced-priced Meals System.\n\n\n\nLittle Miner Taco's founder\, Kathy Voss hopes that their efforts will help Dine with Dignity meet their goal to raise $170\,000 for the upcoming school year. "The last thing kids should have to worry about is having money to pay for their food. Little Miner Taco has always been committed to making great food accessible to all\, so we wanted to tackle this issue not just with financial contributions but also by raising awareness."\n\n\n\nLittle Miner Taco offers kid-approved and nutrient dense kids meals at $3 (100% of which will go to Dine with Dignity) which include cheese quesadilla\, chicken and rice\, and chicken quesadilla. \n\n\n\nTo help spread the word about the new initiative\, Little Miner Taco will offer complimentary Aguafrescas for every Kid's Meal added to your purchase\, when you stop by the store during tax-free week\, August 11 to 17.\n\n\n\nThe Grand Opening Fiesta on Wednesday\, August 28 will begin at 1pm with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
