DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Real Estate edition of Good Morning Rockville.\n\n\n\nWe will meet at Montgomery Community Media to hear a panel discussion from the following:\n\n\n\nKari Glinski\n\n\n\nKari Glinski is Director\, Asset Management for Federal Realty Investment Trust. In this capacity\, Kari is responsible for the performance of Federal Realty's Core Metro DC shopping centers\, including strategic planning and value creation. Her portfolio comprises 20 assets\, which represent over 3.8 million square feet in DC\, Maryland\, and Virginia generating approximately $100 million in net operating income annually.\n\n\n\nKari joined the Trust 4 years ago as a senior acquisitions associate with the Trust's strategic transactions group. In that role\, Kari completed the underwriting\, due diligence and closing for real estate worth in excess of $350 million (gross investment)\, in addition to several other street retail and ancillary acquisitions. Prior to joining the Trust\, Kari was an investment manager at ASB Real Estate Investments\, where she was responsible for asset management\, acquisitions and  dispositions. \n\n\n\nKari graduated summa cum laude from The Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction and certificates in Finance and Land Development.  She is also a member of CREW Suburban Maryland and participates on their programs committee.\n\n\n\nTodd Pearson\n\n\n\nMr. Pearson is the Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Development for the B. F. Saul Company and affiliates. The Saul organization owns and operates approximately 8 million square feet of retail space\, 5.2 million square feet of office and mixed use space\, and 20 hotels primarily in the DC metropolitan area. Todd's primary role is helping the organization grow through the identification\, acquisition\, and development of real estate assets. His responsibilities include: sourcing and negotiating real estate deals\, valuing potential opportunities\, completing acquisition due diligence\, and managing the design\, entitlement and development of our mixed use projects.\n\n\n\nTodd has been instrumental in many of the Saul developments but most notably lead the assemblage of 6 different land parcels totaling over 18 acres directly adjacent to the Twinbrook Metro in Rockville\, MD. He has worked with the City\, community\, and other stakeholders to create the vision for a 2.8 million square foot mixed use development\, Twinbrook Quarter\, that will result in one of the region's largest and most innovative projects totaling over $1 billion dollars of investment. Todd has been the primary lead for all aspects of the project including: land acquisition\, due diligence\, community outreach\, lobbying\, land planning\, project design\, merchandising/leasing\, and entitlement.\n\n\n\nTodd received his MBA from the University of Virginia\, Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. He serves on the Board of Directors of Rockville Economic Development\, Inc.\, is the Chair of the Loudoun County Economic Development Advisory Commission\, co-chaired Loudoun's Nighttime Economy Ad Hoc Committee\, and is an active member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts\, International Council of Shopping Centers\, and Urban Land Institute. He is a Certified Public Accountant. Todd was recently selected as one of the Washington Business Journal's 40 under 40\, received an award for DCA's 2018 Rising Stars of Real Estate\, and received the 2018 Loudoun County Leader of the Year award.  Todd lives in Washington DC with his wife Sarah and four children\; Mage\, Jack\, Eleni\, and Benjamin.\n\n\n\nDanny Sheridan\n\n\n\nDanny Sheridan is a Senior Vice President at Jones Lang Lasalle.  Mr. Sheridan has eleven years of commercial real estate experience at Jones Lang LaSalle specializing in representing the real estate needs of both Landlords and Tenants. In this capacity\, he represents clients' needs in lease and purchase acquisitions\, relocations\, renegotiations and consolidations of commercial office space. He is a specialist in the suburban MD and Washington\, DC office markets.  Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle\, Mr. Sheridan served as a Land Sales Broker for Fraser Forbes in Mclean\, VA for 2 years.\n\n\n\nMr. Sheridan graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor's in business administration. He is a\n\nlicensed real estate salesperson in Maryland\, DC and Virginia\, and is a member of CREBA.  Mr. Sheridan has ranked among the top 5 leasing agents in all of Maryland over the past 3 years and was a JLL Gold Achiever in 2017.
