DESCRIPTION:The Rockville Chamber is excited to host a nonprofit mastermind group.  Join us each month to talk about issues impacting the nonprofit community and how best to do business in today's market.\n\n\n\n\n\n** New time - this session only - at 12:00 noon   1:30 p.m.**\n\n\n\nLunch and Learn at TLC-The Treatment and Learning Centers\, 2092 Gaither Road\, Rockville\, MD  20850\n\n \n\nBring your own brown bag (drinks and dessert provided) and come hear the topic "Is Your Board on Board?" presented by Ayda Sanver.\n\n \n\nAyda Sanver\, MBA\, CFRE will walk participants through the duties of board members vs. staff\, different types of boards of directors\, and how to get board members more engaged in governance and fundraising. Ayda has 25+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and development\, and currently is a consultant in private practice who regularly works with board of directors in fundraising training. Participants will walk away with questions and next steps to take back to their boards of directors.
