DESCRIPTION:This group is for employees and/or board members on non-profits who are members of the Rockville Chamber.  It is a monthly group which meets to discuss best practices and topics which directly impact non-profits.\n\n\n\nPamela Spears of Cornerstone Montgomery will be speaking to our group about fundraising during COVID-19.\n\n\n\nDonors want to make a difference\, even in times of financial stress.  According to the Association of Fundraising Professionals\, the most successful nonprofits continue to ask for donations\, although likely in a different way. This discussion will present ways nonprofits can help donors continue to support their favorite charities through this challenging time and beyond. \n\n\n\nPamela Spears is Chief Development Officer with Cornerstone Montgomery\, the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health organization in Montgomery County. Pam is a Certified Fund Raising Executive\, a Fellow with the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy\, a Certified Association Executive and is accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.  A Leadership Montgomery graduate and a past president of the Olney Chamber of Commerce\, Pam now serves on the National Capital Gift Planning Council Board of Directors.
