DESCRIPTION:This group is for employees and/or board members on non-profits who are members of the Rockville Chamber.  It is a monthly group which meets to discuss best practices and topics which directly impact non-profits.\n\n\n\nWe are excited to have another fabulous guest speaker\, Brooke Bruch of Contemporaries\, Inc\, for our upcoming Nonprofit Mastermind Meeting on Wednesday. \n\n\n\nZoom info is below the presentation description. Save the date for our November meeting which will be a Connections Event Thursday 11/12 4:30pm. This event will be open to non-members (provided they are staff of a nonprofit) so spread the word. \n\n\n\nThis month the group will hear from Brooke Bruch of Contemporaries about how to attract and keep top talent in your organization.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBrooke Bruch is the Vice President of Contemporaries\, Inc. a small women and family owned staffing firm. Brooke has 10 years of experience in placing personnel in temporary and permanent positions in professional roles throughout the DC area in the non-profit\, federal and commercial sectors. She will share with you the tips and tricks to attracting and keeping top talent. Including: the employment outlook and what it means in the talent war\, how to identify the right candidate for your job vacancy and how to keep your staff happy.\n\n\n\nSince 2003\, Contemporaries has been one of the most successful staffing suppliers to the Department of Health and Human Services\, including the FDA and National Institutes of Health. In the D.C. metro area\, her company is consistently ranked as one of the top 10 vendors under the GSA Federal Supply Schedule for Schedule 736 and in 2008 was recognized as one of the Top 100 "Small Businesses of the Year" by the state of Maryland.
