DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, September 15\, from 2 to 3:30 p.m.\, the Friends of the Library\, Rockville Memorial Chapter will be hosting historical fiction writer Carrie Callaghan to talk about her novel A Light of Her Own. Jennifer Bort Yacovissi\, also a local author and friend\, will interview Callaghan about this remarkable story of Judith Leyster\, a seventeenth century Dutch painter whose work is exhibited in major museums today. A Light of Her Own is not only  compelling story of the artist's career but also a tale of intrigue and murder. The discussion will be followed by a book sale and signing. All are welcome to this free event to be held in the  Rockville Memorial Library's first floor meeting room.
