Our March Communications &\; Aging gathering will take place Tuesday\, March 31st \;at 12:30pm at the Rockville Chamber Office on the 3rd \;floor\, and this one is especially practical.

We'\;re welcoming Jocelyn O'\;Rourke from our Area Agency on Aging\, who will lead a Dementia Friends session designed to help people recognize and respond when someone may be experiencing memory or cognitive changes.

This isn'\;t a clinical lecture\, it'\;s a practical conversation about real-world situations that many of us encounter in our business and communities.

In about 1 hour you will:

Learn simple ways to support someone experiencing confusion or memory loss.

Understand how dementia may show up in everyday interactions.

Gain tools that are useful in business\, healthcare\, community organizations\, and customer service.

Become a \;Certified Dementia Friend \;and receive a certificate.
