DESCRIPTION:We know that you likely have unanswered questions about the role employers should play in the vaccination of their workforce. If so\, or if you have other questions about COVID-19 and the vaccine\, we hope you will join this important upcoming virtual town hall meeting hosted in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce in Gaithersburg-Germantown\, Greater Bethesda\, Greater Silver Spring\, Rockville\, and the Greater Washington Board of Trade.\n\n\n\nIn this meeting\, a panel of experts will provide an update on what our business community should know about COVID-19 vaccination and their options and responsibilities in Montgomery County. Expert speakers to include:\n\n \n\n\n	Councilmember Andrew Friedson to discuss Montgomery County's current COVID-19 restrictions and reopening policies:\n	Mike Neary\, attorney with Lerch\, Early & Brewer to provide insights on how to prepare employers and employees for return-to-work situations including legal and human resource considerations\; and\n	Dr. Christina Stasiuk\, senior medical director for Cigna and an expert on health disparities to summarize the latest on COVID-19 and the vaccine including topics such as the vaccine pipeline and distribution\, vaccine hesitancy and the challenges associated with health disparities\, and population immunity. \n\nThis presentation will be followed by a Q & A where you can ask any remaining questions.
