SUMMARY:2022 Public Policy Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Public Policy Committee monitors and advises the Chamber on legislative and regulatory issues at the local level\, and promotes the interests of our membership.\n\n\n\nThis month\, MCDOT will discuss the proposal to fund the construction of two majoy Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects.  The County Executive's budget as transmitted to Council proposes funding the construction of the MD 355 Flash BRT from Germantown to Rockville and the Veirs Mill Road Flash BRT from Rockville to Wheaton.\nMCDOT would like to brief the Chamber on the projects\, answer questions\, and hear members' thoughts on transportation priorities.
