DESCRIPTION:Manna Food Center's Heroes Against Hunger Award Reception is one of Montgomery County's most inspiring annual gatherings a moment when business leaders\, community partners\, and advocates come together to honor those who are transforming the fight against hunger. Each year\, Manna's Board of Directors recognizes outstanding partners in three categories Individual Hero\, Corporate Hero\, and Community Hero celebrating the people and organizations whose leadership strengthens food security for our neighbors. \nThis event is more than a ceremony. It is a powerful reminder that when our community unites around dignity\, access\, and equity\, we can create lasting change. Guests enjoy meaningful networking\, light fare\, and stories that highlight the real impact of collective action. Most importantly\, the evening raises critical funds for Manna Food Center\, the county's largest food assistance organization\, serving more than 60\,000 residents annually through programs such as the Choice Pantry\, our School-Based Programs (in nearly 100 schools!)\, our Food Voucher program\, and nutrition education initiatives. Guests will enjoy great networking\, heavy hors d'oeuvres\, an auction and a wine pull. Tickets are $200. Tables and sponsorships are also available.
